Summer Ball Program

The Giltner Summer Ball Program is a newly developed organization to assist the Lions Club to organize softball and baseball in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. Here are the many grants that helped build our fields: Hamilton Community Foundation, Mather Foundation, Farr Foundation, Virgil Eihuesen Foundation, Baseball Tomorrow Fund, New York, NY, Peter Kiewitt Foundation, Omaha. Trees were donated by an anonymous donor. The posts and cement surrounding the park were installed by members of the GADC and other volunteers.

Village Park

The Village park has greatly improved over the years. By the use of a grant from Kiewitt Foundation, set up by the village volunteers, they have built new playground equipment. They have also built a new basketball court with the help of a grant from Hamilton Community, and volunteers who poured cement.
